FUN THINGS TO DO

FISHING THE WHITE RIVER

Interested in fishing the great White River for fun or for sport?  Give our office a call and we will connect you with area Guides that know the special hiding spots our Arkansas fish like to hide in.  No matter the time of year - it's always fun to spend the day with a fishing pole in your hands.  Bring your children, your family and any friends you have with you.  Get them "hooked" on fishing...you will be glad you did.

Music Venues

One of the reasons visitors come to Mountain View is for the Folk Music and Blue Grass Music that is offered by the talented local musicians and the visitors that bring their musical knowledge and experience to our Town.  Any given night you can visit the Washington Street Park located at 315 King Street in Downtown Mountain View to hear the musicians play.  See our picture to the left of this article to see an example of the musicians that join in.

Heck...bring your own instrument and get in on the action.  In addition to the downtown pickin park as we locals call it - there are so many other venues you can visit and listen to the music.  Stop in the Ozark RV Park office and grab some brochures that will outline the list of performances, times and locations.  What are the best days to catch a gig?  Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the most common, however, any night you can find someone strummin a banjo, guitar, dulcimer, dobro guitar, fiddle and bass.
